After seeing one of my cat-dragon hybrid tattoo designs and wanting a dragon tattoo as an amulet of protection for the longest time, Fer requested a custom tattoo of her cat Yuma as a dragon.
The Inspiration
“Drakitty”, a dragon-cat hybrid. An original design I had tattooed some months prior.
The Process
Yuma is a Native American name meaning “son of the chief”, so the emphasis of the design is on the serene and protective expression. Fer specifically requested slanted eyes that “smiled” and for the tail to have a twisted loop.
