Marcela Bovio has been sharing her music with a close community on Patreon since 2018.
After reaching a milestone, the time came to release an album just for them, and I had the honor to help her with the artwork.
The Mission
Marcela loved my watercolor illustration for Casabe Añejo’s album En Tu Universo.
The mission was to create a digital illustration in a similar style, based on a photo of herself, including chamber instruments like the piano and cello.
The Process
From sketches to Ink to Color & Texture
The concept behind the design was to visually represent Marcela’s powerful voice filling and transforming the space, harmonizing with the the instruments that make her music.
