This post is part of the 100 Sleeves: One hundred Album Covers Re-Designed project, a personal challenge I created for myself at the end of 2020. The goal is to create 100 album covers inspired by the music I’m enjoying at the moment.
I discovered Lana around 2013, through Within Temptation’s cover of Summertime Sadness
I became obsessed with Lana’s retro sound and explicit, victimizing, lyrics. But it wasn’t until the release of Ultraviolence that I called myself a fan.
In my opinion, Ultraviolence (Deluxe) is Lana Del Rey’s best work to date. At least as a whole experience.
