Fifth sleeve and new personal favourite for my project #100albumsleeves🔥.
It took me a bit longer to choose the album for this week, but once I made my mind the idea came running to me.
I discovered this jazz trio in early 2020, thanks to my brother who showed me a video of a live performance.
🤯They blew my mind at the instant. It was the only thing I would listen to for weeks.
Every album by this band is a gem, but several of my favorite songs are part of the album I ultimately choose:
Listening to the music and by the album’s title, I knew I was going to make an android. To my surprise, I later found that the title is partly inspired by ideas of robotics and human augmentation🤖
I got so immersed in the process of this painting while listening to the music, it was a delightful experience. I love the result so much, and my confidence grew a lot with this piece. I know I’m just at 5, but making 100 of these seems more possible than ever.💪🏽
