The last quarter of the year (2021) was a bit busy and complicated for me, and the blog got a bit neglected, but If you supported me on Ko-fi during that time then you know the 100 Sleeves project was still up and running. The following content was first posted on Ko-fi on October 22, 2021.

I’ve been obsessed with Loud Like Love for the last 3 weeks. I’m starting to believe I have “bad” music taste ’cause a lot of albums I’ve been digging are not so loved by music “critics”.

Album Cover Redesign by franzmori. This is fan art, no copyright infringement intended.

A lot of people say Placebo played it safe with this album, that it sounds too “placebosy” but I’m here to say there’s no such thing as too much of something you love. If you’re a Placebo fan this album is so self-indulgent.

Even though they have what are considered masterpieces like Meds and Sleeping with Ghosts, someone might try to kill me for saying this, I believe Loud Like Love is their best album on a listen from beginning to end…

Or maybe I’m just nostalgic of the teenage angst😅. Either way, I love this album.

The title of the album and the themes around relationships in a hyperconnected era led me to think of emojis and code, so I played with photographs and effects for it. This probably is the quickest cover I’ve made as it only took me around 2 hours

Would you like your own Album Cover design?
I’m available for commissions!

Listen to the art! I’ll be adding a new album each week to this Spotify playlist HERE
